A cup of honey scented black tea for a quiet morning on my own!
I have always love to add ginger syrup into my tea, especially when I feel my hands and feet are cold and unable to warm up.
Using“ Dark Muscovado Sugar” is my tip to share. With hints of toffee and a slightly bitter aftertaste, it offers a deeper flavour to your syrup.
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. On medium heat and stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Add the ginger and bringing the syrup to a light boil. Allow to simmer for about 10minutes.
Allow it to cool down and it is ready for using!
